 Tai Boutell is a long time resident of Santa Cruz County. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from California State University, Chico. After two years of law school, he moved to the Lake Tahoe area to manage a ski resort in the winters and a white water rafting company in the summers. He enjoys telemark skiing and multi-day backcountry ski trips. In the summer, he competes in local races, including the Wharf to Wharf and the Sentinel Triathlon.
With extensive experience in customer service and marketing, he joined Santa Cruz Home Finance as a Mortgage Consultant. He specializes in mortgage lending and financial planning for all types of home buyers. Since 1999 he has conducted a monthly Smart Home Buyer Seminar to educate home buyers and home owners about the developments of new mortgage programs and local First Time Buyer’s programs.
